Huárén (华人)

华人 (huárén) broadly translates to "ethnic Chinese person". It refers to people of Chinese descent or ethnicity, regardless of their nationality, citizenship, or where they live in the world.

Huárén is an ongoing photography project documenting Chinese culture & aesthetic around the world, exploring how the Chinese diaspora is shaped by (and shapes) its surroundings.
